Master data specialist

Do you have experience with master data management (MDM)? Do you enjoy a balance between the technical aspects of MDM and stakeholder and change management? And would you like a role where you get to maximise operational efficiency and improve decision-making processes – all with the purpose of a greener future? Then you might be the master data specialist we are looking for to join our Data Architecture and Engineering (DARC) team!

Here’s what the job entails

In the role, your primary function will be to develop our MDM platform, including system integrations and dataflows.

Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following:

  • collaborate with users and your team members in the MDM product team to get maximum value from the MDM platform
  • analyse, design and develop high quality data flows and system integrations to support business processes
  • maintain and continuously improve the MDM platform
  • knowledge share with team members and review code on an ongoing basis
  • learn new technologies and develop your skills

Meet the team

As our new master data specialist, you will join our DARC team. Here, you will become part of a team of more than 30 data engineers, data scientists, master data specialists and software developers. We are a curious and motivated bunch – curious about each other, about the DC business model and, of course, about anything related to data and analytics. Our culture is informal and always with value creation at the forefront of everything we do.

In the team, we enjoy getting together for dinners, paddle matches, mini golf – and not least, our epic DARC parties. Everyone enjoys a high amount of flexibility to design a working day that matches their personal preferences.

As part of our newly established master data product team, you will take part in building a scalable and sustainable business – ready to play their part in the energy transition! Erik Hjælm Skole - Data Office Lead (DOL).

But enough about us… over to you!

As you will be working with many different stakeholders whose needs you need to understand in order to create value, we are looking for someone with great collaboration skills. Also, as the role will be exposed to a lot of complex information and opposing views, we imagine that you take a structured approach to information processing.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • have knowledge of/some experience with Microsoft SQL and .NET
  • have some years of experience with MDM system implementation.
  • have a good grasp of MDM principles
  • possess strong communication skills and are able to handle a wide range of stakeholders
  • have an interest in change management and the mechanisms behind it
  • are proficient in English – both written and verbal

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
