Ex­per­i­enced java developer

As a developer at AMC, you will be part of a small and highly skilled development team where you will take part in the world of banking and cash management. Our new developer will be expected to be part of the development process of a new platform for our own banking software.

AMC Consult A/S is an ISV on Frederiksberg who specializes in bank integration with ERP-systems. We strive for a sound work environment where people can grow and thrive. We are currently looking for a skilled Java developer.

You will be challenged primarily by your ability to work autonomously on projects, but you are also expected comfortably work with complicated stuff together in teams. To succeed and thrive at this position in AMC you will have to be passionate about developing and see possibilities where others see limitations.

Even though we are only around 30 employees, we deliver game changing cash management tools for small, medium, and large sized organizations. Our daily bread is developing software to make life easier for financial departments around the world. To continually expand our products, we would like to strengthen our development team, located in Frederiksberg.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java developer with experience in developing robust and scalable applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions using Java and other technologies. You will collaborate with a team of developers to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our clients. - Some problems might require you to take charge of communicating across departments, to find the best solution for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications using best practices and coding standards.
• Contributing to a sound work environment for the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality code.
• Performing reporting tasks and writing documentation. (Not as much as we believe in readable and structured rather than not aligned documentation)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Java Programmer or Software Developer, with a strong focus on Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)..
• Familiarity with technologies such as CXF, Angular, Gradle, Postgress, MSSql, Html, JavaScript and Jenkins.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
