Technical Quality Assurer

About the job

You will join our dedicated team of 5 Quality Assurers within the Visma Løn organization, a group of approximately 20 professionals working together to build and maintain one of Denmark’s most trusted payroll systems.

As our new Technical Quality Assurer, you'll take an active role in designing and implementing automated test solutions. You’ll work closely with our developers and product owners to build reliable, scalable test infrastructure that’s embedded in our CI/CD pipelines.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Identifying areas where test automation can replace manual regression testing
• Writing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright/Cypress
• Integrating tests into our CI/CD process using tools like Github actions, Octopus, Teamcity
• Supporting and mentoring QA teammates in adopting automation best practices

In this role, your contributions will directly improve product quality and reduce time to market. We are looking for someone who thrives on technical challenges, enjoys solving problems and driving initiatives forward.

Who you are

We welcome a Technical Quality Assurer with strong technical capabilities and a keen focus on delivering quality.

Ideally, you bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• 3+ years of experience developing automated tests (using tools like: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman
• Practical experience working in an Agile development team
• A mindset focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical ownership
• Comfort in leading the automation strategy within your team
• Familiarity with SQL is a plus
• Strong English skills are required. Danish is not mandatory but beneficial for some internal communication.
