Now is the best time to join our Engine Support department, since we are re-thinking our organizational setup to adapt to the future technology and provide the best support to our business. The department is working with a large variety of new technologies such as Engine control software, our own developed controller hardware combined with vessel connectivity, interfaces to other onboard systems and data analysis for both urgent matters and long-term improvements.

You will play an important role in:

  • Creating a healthy working environment in high-paced daily business
  • Providing visionary leadership to a diverse team, promoting a culture of innovation
  • Being responsible for the overall performance of your dedicated team of around 10 skilled experts.
  • Working closely with our Design and R&D departments – utilizing your network
  • Overseeing personnel management activities, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development
  • Joining us in our strategy of decarbonizing marine transportation

We imagine that you:

  • Have +3 years of experience in personnel leadership and management, including recruitment, performance management, and team development
  • Have a background in electronics or IT but with an interest to learn about 2- stroke engines.
  • Have a strong IT background in the field of system integration, control technologies, programming, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and automation systems
  • Possess business acumen and preferably international experience
  • Have strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Are a strong team player who can motivate colleagues and be motivated by colleagues
  • Engine Support is essentially the eyes and ears of the 2-Stroke engine development at Everllence. From our department we travel the globe to support on newly developed engines during the warranty period. We see ourself as a strong link between our design department and our customer, providing essential feedback into our organization for the future engine enhancement.

In the Engine Support Department you will work closely together with 9 other dedicated managers, covering close to 150 colleagues on a global level. All plays a key role in our Engineering and R&D organization. You will be part of one of our professional teams, rendering technical support to our customers on their ships and to the ship owners.
