Join SDC’s Middleware team as Expert IT Developer

Paul, Alexandra, Elvis and Wojciech form the core of the team, working with Identity Provider Services, providing authentication functionality for our customers using Danish MitID, Faeroese Samleikin, Norwegian and Swedish BankID as well as many other security components.

With lots of exciting tasks in the pipeline, we have decided to welcome yet another dedicated colleague to the team; someone who is equally passionate about IT security as the other members of the team are.

The team works centrally and as a business-critical focal point. Handling SDC’s Middleware components makes them key players, as the work is closely integrated with SDC’s Core Banking, Net banking, mobile banking, and Advisory portals just to name a few. It’s complicated stuff across borders; what’s not to like for the ambitious Expert IT Developer?

Architect mindset and working with all phases of IT development

As our new Expert Developer you’ll analyze, design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Also perform unit tests and load tests and document the technical design. A guesstimate would be that you spend around 30 % of your time on IT Development tasks.

Work hours are also spent on keeping up with and ensuring that solutions for new vulnerabilities are applied fast and reliable, and used across SDC. You’ll work in close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, Business Developers and Testers; always aiming to be progressive and innovative in the reviewing approach of new and existing solutions.

In close collaboration with other expert developers, you will be architect responsible for designing/drawing the IT strategy for the Middleware Components. Due to the team’s diversity in age and seniority, we also see you as a mentor and technical lead for the Junior Developers in the Danish and Polish team.

Our agile journey is well under way - but we are not there yet

We take pride in our system set-up and the way everything has been designed. We are a strong project organization with some teams working agile and in sprints. We have releases every 3 weeks on average.

General coding, Integration Technologies, and web services

Expert is a title that comes with experience – so we are looking for 8+ years of working experience in a professional IT development team.

You have solid experience with security setups from large companies (maybe banks) and understand many important details related to security, access rights and Identity providers.

An understanding of the Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish and Norwegian) is preferred.
