Security Operations Specialist (SecOps) for some of the most critical IT infrastructure in Denmark

Are you vigilant and technologically adept? Can you handle security incidents and spot potential vulnerabilities? And do you want to contribute to the security of our critical IT infrastructure at ATP, where we work to ensure financial security in Denmark for the benefit of both individuals and society? Then you might be the perfect addition to our team.

Do you want to play a part in protecting our digital infrastructure?

ATP was created to ensure financial security in Denmark. We work for the benefit of both individuals and society, and our contribution is made through responsible investments and an effective administration of the pension and welfare system that forms our common safety net.

In Digital Solutions, the subsection of ATP responsible for IT, data and digitalisation, we play a crucial role in digitalising Danish society as we are responsible for the systems guaranteeing financial security for the benefit of all—from each individual to society at large.

Consequently, we hold a great societal responsibility, which sets high demands for our security setup.

This is where your job begins.

As our new Security Operations Specialist (SecOps), you will become part of Security & Identity Access Management (S&IAM), where you will have a wide range of responsibilities in operational security and security incident management. Among other things, your work tasks will include:

  • collecting and analysing logs from our available sources (SIEM, networks and other applications)
  • setting up alarms and ensuring a correct flow of security incident management through our ITSM system
  • adjusting Managed Detection & Response (MDR) solutions in cooperation with our suppliers
  • ensuring internal/external security incident management, with a focus on guaranteeing compliance with the EU-wide NIS2 directive
  • investigating security incidents and functioning as the primary incident manager in the event of any incidents
  • documenting and utilising previous incidents in the development of future processes
  • participating in contract changes, tenders and continuous cooperation with suppliers
  • carrying out regular security assessments to ensure best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Do you have experience in operational security and security incident management?

There are multiple paths to the role of SecOps. We imagine that you have a relevant educational background along with:

  • previous experience in operational security and security incident management
  • a knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework or a comparable framework
  • a practical understanding of scripting and automation
  • experience with Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and SIEM tools
  • an understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., the NIS2 directive)
  • a knowledge of international standards such as ISO27001, NIST, and CIS18.

Furthermore, you must want to take operational responsibility while, on other occasions, serving as an advisor to different parts of the organisation on matters of IT security and operations.

At ATP, we have high expectations for our employees in terms of professionalism. You will be expected to take responsibility, ask questions and develop yourself and your surroundings. We know that committed employees are key to reaching our goals and solving the tasks we have been entrusted with, now and in the future.

Are you interested in working for the benefit of individuals and society?

In Digital Solutions, you will become part of something greater. We are a unique professional community of more than 500 IT, data and digitalisation specialists working with code, algorithms and AI. Along with testing and developing reliable solutions, we push the boundaries for what is possible with regard to digitalisation, automation, self-service solutions and user-friendliness—all for the benefit of society.

We believe in creating a working environment with great colleagues and insist on a friendly workplace culture with hands-on management, personal development, solidarity and good health.

A healthy working life requires a flexible organisation with room for each individual employee—and we offer that. We are ambitious when it comes to both professional results and the well-being of our employees.

We want ATP to be a great place to work.
